The B&B

The comfortable and elegantly decorated rooms of the Guesthouse each feature a 32” LCD TV, DVD player, satellite decoder, air conditioning, mini-fridge, safe, alarm clock, coffee and tea preparation set as well as free access to high speed internet. Each room has its own private bathroom furnished with a hairdryer, hand towels, bathrobe, bath towels and soap set, such comforts comparable to those of a luxurious hotel. The intent of the Guesthouse is to provide guests with the feeling of being right at home and to enable you to experience an unforgettable and satisfying stay. In the common areas, there are books, guides, maps and illustrative materials on the Eternal City and the staff will also be happy to give you suggestions that will offer you the chance to experience places and aspects of the city lesser known to the “do it yourself” tourist.

The Building

Our Guesthouse, which is located in the elegant Prati District, is situated on the third floor of an impressive structure from the Umbertin Period and has a quaint inner courtyard through which one may access from the main entrance. The snake shaped ancient walls of the Vatican, constructed by Michelangelo in the 16th century, wind around the perimeter of the building where the Guesthouse is located. Positioned near Piazza Risorgimento, you will find yourself not only in the historical district, but also just a few steps away from one of the most important commercial areas of Rome and ideal for shopping.

Michelangelo Suite

The magnificent Michelangelo Suite, which can host up to four people, distinguishes itself through its refined and elegant style. It is the ideal choice for a nice stay in the Eternal City for families or groups of friends. It is decorated with impressive oriental modern furniture and features two rooms with en-suite bathrooms. From the two windows, you can enjoy a unique view that includes: St. Peter’s Dome, Michelangelo’s Vatican walls of the 16th century, the Belvedere palace with the very famous spiral staircase of Bramante and the Galera fountain. In the first and quite spacious room, there is a double bed with nightstands, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Situated in one corner is a large square antique table with Thonet seats. Through a sliding door equipped with locks, one may access the second room. This second room is part of the suite which has dual functions as a living room and bedroom with a pullout sofa bed, a writing desk with chair as well as a large wardrobe from the early 20th century having large dimensions and containing a quite original kitchenette fully furnished with burners, hood, sink and refrigerator.The refined and elegantly decorated bathroom is spacious and features a sink, shower, toilet and bidet.

  • Raffaello Room

    A little pearl in the heart of Rome! The Raffaello Room distinguishes itself with its romantic and refined style. It is the ideal choice for a stay in the Eternal City for married couples on their honeymoon. The room overlooks the inner courtyard of the building and is therefore very quiet and well aerated. In the room decorated with impressive industrial style furniture, there is a double wrought iron canopy bed, nightstands, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. In front of the window, there is a small wrought iron table with two armchairs where you can sip a tea while relaxing. The private bathroom finished in Travertine marble features a sink, water/bidet and a multi-function shower with sauna, hydromassage and equipped for foot massage.

  • Caravaggio Room

    This is a delightful and bright room which can also be utilized as a single room and has a private bath adjacent to the same room. The room overlooks the inner courtyard of the building and is therefore very quiet and well aerated. The room features a Murphy bed , a two door wardrobe, a writing desk with chair and a cabinet containing a mini-refrigerator inside. The private bathroom features a sink, toilet-bidet and a shower accessorized with sauna, hydromassage and equipped for foot massage.

    The common areas are available for use by the guests of the B&B and include the atrium of the structure which also functions as a breakfast room, there the guests will find free drinks, fruits and snack all the day.
    In the vestibule, there is an Art Nouveau library where you can find romance novels and books of various genres, tourist guides and maps, card and board games and a large variety of DVD’s to enhance your stay in our structure. Beside the library is a practical shoe polisher/cleaner. In the same area, there is also a telephone, first-aid drawer and fire extinguisher.

    The Guesthouse is authorized by the A.P.T. of Rome (Promotional Tourist Agency of Rome and of the Region of Lazio) and abides by all of the hygienic standards and measures according to the law of the Region of Lazio which regulates guest accommodations.
